What Is Green Politics?

What Is Green Politics? Asia Pacific Greens Discussion Forum - APGN

As Greens, we have a vision to change the world, for a more just and sustainable future.

But what makes Green politics different from the old ways? Our vision isn’t just about the outcomes we want, but about the process we use to get there.

Many of us are mobilised by issues, such as climate change, inequality, and destruction of biodiversity. However, behind fixing these problems is a theory and philosophy that is bigger than all of them.

Join us on 10 October at 5am UTC as leading Green thinkers from across the Asia-Pacific region discuss just what makes Green politics unique, and how it is the best way to address the challenges facing our world now and into the future!

We are so lucky to be joined by:

  • Nada Zarour, former President, Green Party of Lebanon
  • Tim Hollo, Executive Director, Green Institute, Australia
  • Ricky Adachi, Author, “Green Thoughts”
  • Ade Zuchri, Chairperson, Indonesia Green Union

We look forward to seeing you and joining the discussion.
