Professor Brendan Mackey presents to the plenaryProfessor Brendan Mackey is the Director of the Griffith Climate Change Response Program and specialises in the interactions between climate change, biodiversity and land use, sustainable development and the science and policy of ecosystem-based adaptation and mitigation and related public policy issues.

Prof Mackey’s keynote presentation, entitled The breath of life connects us all: scientific reflections on our planetary connections & their political ramifications, was a brilliant and engaging contribution to framing the conversations at the conference.
